Delivered structural designs and coordinated daily with architects, contractors and clients to bring 30+ buildings to completion.

Steel & concrete systems
Composite and non-composite steel framing with concrete slabs on metal deck, cast-in-place concrete framing, and precast concrete plank.
Masonry & timber systems
Light-gauge steel joists with CMU bearing walls, plus natural and engineered lumber framing.
Excavation & construction sequencing
Designed support of excavation systems and construction sequencing to meet Transit Authority and NYC Department of Buildings Special Enforcement Unit requirements.
Site coordination
Visited alteration and new-construction sites to verify compliance with approved drawings. Participated in meetings with clients, architects, contractors and Transit Authority plan examiners.
Repairs & alterations
Repair work involving brick façades, fire-damaged buildings and structurally inadequate construction, along with vertical and horizontal extensions.
Team leadership & documentation
Managed, trained and delegated work to four employees, working closely with the CEO. Edited contract language and completed TR3 and AI1 filings.

Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge

Completed the 2018 biennial and 2019 special in-lieu-of-interim inspections of all main suspended spans for MTA TBTA. Inspected decks, bearings, cables, anchorages and tower components; authored sections of the bridge inspection reports.

Henry Hudson Bridge & tunnels

Inspected and rated structural elements across 10 BINs for the 2019 biennial cycle and associated repair design, including the Queens-Midtown and Hugh L. Carey tunnels. Covered decks, bearings, masonry abutments and wing walls, steel framing and Henry Hudson arch ribs.

Broadway Junction Station

Led a six-person subcontractor team across three elevated and sub-grade stations serving the J–Z, A–C and L lines. Inspected track-level catwalks during live traffic, platforms, mezzanines, ramped areas and the control building. Coordinated three reports with repairs and condition ratings.

Park Avenue Viaduct Fixation System

Inspected concrete rail plinths, third-rail grout pads and steel connections across four tracks and up to 89 spans. Recorded 21 distinct defect types, reconciled multiple database formats and quantified changes against the 2015 baseline.

Inspection databases & reporting

Improved the Scanprint IMS interface and reconciled element quantities across BDIS, the TBTA Database and two versions of Scanprint. Created reusable field-note templates from prior inspection cycles and prepared element sketches.

Inspection work included the Goethals Bridge, Jamaica Line, Cedarview Pedestrian Bridge and Verrazzano-Narrows approach ramps. Operated aerial platform trucks under high-priority access conditions.
